Year 4

Overview

Year 4 is an important stage in Key Stage 2, where children continue to build on their growing independence and deepen their understanding across the curriculum. Our Year 4 team is led by two dedicated teachers, Ms Luing-Turnbull and Mr Bell, who work closely together to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Ms Luing-Turnbull teaches Class 4LT and Mr Bell teaches 4B.

Pupils are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and take pride in their achievements. Both teachers create positive and structured classroom where children are supported to develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility for their learning.

Together, they deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that challenges and motivates pupils, while ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. Through a range of interactive and creative learning opportunities, Year 4 pupils continue to grow academically and socially as they progress through Key Stage 2.
